Join us for the 20^th annual International Conference of Butterfly Exhibitors & Suppliers!  We are celebrating 20 years at the location of one of the greatest success stories in all of the butterfly exhibition industry: the Arabuko Sokoke forest.  This will be the first time the conference is held in Kenya.

Hosted by the Kipepeo Project, registrants to ICBES 2018 will see first-hand how the source of most of the worlds’ live African butterflies has changed subsistence farmers into conservationists, saving the Arabuko Sokoke forest!  In doing so, the livelihoods of thousands of villagers have been extraordinarily improved through butterfly farming and an awareness and understanding of the importance of sustainability and conserving the natural environment.

POST-CONFERENCE:

 ICBES 2018 will take you inside Arabuko Sokoke forest, the largest and most intact coastal forest in East Africa, with 20% of Kenya's bird species, 30% of butterfly species, and at least 24 rare and endemic bird, mammal, and butterfly species...  But what is a trip to Africa without the "Big 5?"  Join the post-conference for a two-night safari adventure in Tsavo National Park where you will experience the iconic African savannah and it's incredible wildlife.  Don't miss the chance to see Africa's exrodinary animals and vistas that are the envy of the world!!
