WHY VISIT A BUTTERFLY HOUSE?

A visit to a butterfly house is not only EDUCATIONAL but ENTERTAINING for the entire family!  Young and old alike, from 4 months old to 104 years old, enjoy the experience of walking among living butterflies in a tropical garden setting.  At a butterfly house you can get face to face and observe these marvelous insects close-up as they fly around the exhibit, feeding on nectar from flowers or fruit juices, patrolling for mates and defending territory.  Most facilities also have places where you can watch the butterflies as they complete their final transformation or metamorphosis and emerge from their chrysalises.
